Photographic documentation, which was once rare and only available to the rich, is now so common, even if you never purposefully took a photo of yourself, your face is probably secretly saved on at least five strangers phones. To live in a time that you can take a photo of just about anything—on anything— it’s harder than ever to distinguish what others should see or what is valuable.

With that thought always toiling in the back of my head, I work to take pictures worth remembering. To make images that transcend my life to yours, and transport you to another time, place, or feeling that you didn’t know was in your reach. A photo is a flashcard. Between capricious party photos, elaborate photoshoots, and my parents’ modest backyard shoes— I hope you unlock a memory or two.
